OLLIE WRIDE, is an English singer/songwriter fusing innovative elements of modern alternative pop with the nostalgic hallmarks of synth-pop. The artist found a platform to hone his unique blend of songwriting and showmanship working with San Francisco based producer FM-84, penning some of synth-wave’s most popular tracks including “Running in The Night” and “Never Stop”, leading to 2 North American sold out tours in 2018 and 2019.

Following this popular collaboration, provided an opportunity for Wride to explore a more personal approach utilizing his melodic sensibilities and character driven lyrics, quickly attracting a new audience with the release of his debut solo album, “Thanks in Advance” on NRW Records. Widely praised by fans, the album became their fastest selling debut record to date, charting on Billboards Top 10 Electronic charts as well as iTunes’ Electronic charts. It also enjoyed critical accolades; NewRetroWave named the debut record number one on their list of the Top 10 Albums of 2019. Culminating in 2 sold out headlining shows on either side of the pandemic in London at Camden Assembly in 2019 and Lafayette in 2021.

2020 saw the release of the deluxe repress, featuring the cult hit “Stranger Love” that was featured on Netflix: To The Beat! Back 2 School and Channel 4: Made in Chelsea.
In 2021 during the midst of the pandemic, served to catalyze Wride’s creative output, producing a one off world wide live stream concert in partnership with Moment House, Directed by concert cinematographer Steve Price (Queen, Tame Impala) culminating in a vinyl pressing of the concert entitled “Once In A Lifetime” featuring the latest single the euphorically optimistic – “A Matter of Time”.

In 2023, Ollie Wride signed to M3 Recordings, an independent label procured by legendary MTV Host, former VP of Capitol Records and syndicated radio personality, Matt Pinfield, Music Manager Matt Holmes & Grammy award-winning producer, Matt Malpass. Following the releases of “Victoria”, “The Way I See It”, and “Radio”, Ollie’s forthcoming album, “The Pressure Point” featuring collaborations with renowned producers / writers including: Chris Zane (St. Lucia, Passion Pit) Arcades (BTS, Big Hit) James F. Reynolds (Sigrid, Dua Lipa) and Adam Sinclair (RJ Thompson). The album set for release on Feb 7th of 2025, preceding a coast-to-coast USA tour in February through April.
