From tours with the likes of Marilyn Manson and HIM to music videos shot in Hollywood – and with over 3 million combined Spotify and YouTube streams.
As the band prepare for their highly-anticipated return, band drummer & producer Luke Keast muses on the creation of their upcoming studio release, and the importance of ‘In Dreams’ not just for their fans, but for the band as well.
“After the last album we had some time out, did a farewell tour and then everything went quiet. But like with all matters of the heart, you can’t forget about it for long – it was only a matter of time before we all got back together and started coming up with new ideas. We spent time working on this huge collection of ideas whittling everything down to only the best.”
“We set about recording these songs in the best way we knew how; with the best musicians and engineers we know, and with the best equipment we could find. For this album, we wanted to continue to push the bar in terms of what we could achieve. We’ve made some amazing films for these songs, and even went to Abbey Road to record with an orchestra. That was something truly special.”
Closing with a heartfelt message to Esoterica’s fans and followers, Keast summarises…
“Your reaction to all this has been insane, and so incredibly uplifting for us. This new album is the culmination of four years of work, aided by some truly incredible people. With shows sold out or being upgraded, we can’t wait to share our new album with you, and we’re even more excited to play it live for you all. We want to keep making music and we will keep making music, but it’s up to you how far this goes. Either way, we can’t wait to see you all very soon.”
