A Wake In Providence is an American Symphonic deathcore band formed in New York City, New York in 2010. The band currently consists of vocalist Adam Mercer, guitarist, orchestrator and vocalist D’Andre Tyre, Jordan Felion also on guitar & drummer Jessie Mcenneny. Many bands embrace evil imagery to create an atmosphere of “darkness” and “brutality”, there are bands who use evil and aggression as a facade to garner a following and then there are bands like A Wake in Providence, who don’t simply use darkness, they redefine it. Combining marvelous and cinematic orchestrations, aggressive riffs, crushing breakdowns, sinister vocals and soaring clean melodies to create an intense onslaught unlike any other band in the heavy music scene.
