MAKEOUT

Formed in Providence, Rhode Island, MAKEOUT deliver high-energy fun pop-punk that plays to the back of the room. Original singer/guitarist Sam Boxold, guitarist Tyler Young, and drummer Scott Eckel landed a production deal with John Feldmann (blink-182, Good Charlotte) before rebranding themselves as MAKEOUT. The band recorded their debut album with Feldmann and, thanks to their producer’s connections, found themselves playing tour dates with their heroes, blink-182 followed by a stint on the final Vans Warped Tour in 2018. The band’s debut LP, The Good Life was met with rave reviews and garnered over 10 million streams since its release in 2017. In January 2019, the band parted ways with singer/guitarist Sam Boxold but after an exhaustive search, they found a new frontman in Chicago based singer/songwriter, Kyle Dee. Once they solidified their lineup, the band started recorded new music in 2020, and began releasing singles like “Home” and “Wish U Were Here”, which is to be included on their next full length LP releasing in 2024 on M3 Recordings, a record label founded by legendary MTV VJ and former VP at Columbia Reocrds, Matt Pinfield, Grammy-Award Winning Producer (Blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly) Matt Malpass and music manager and guru, Matt Holmes. The band released two singles in 2023, “Better Days” and album title track, “Figure It Out”.

In 2023, MAKEOUT toured extensively and successfully across 44 states in the USA including several Canada dates alongside pop-punk bands, Every Avenue and Mest, as well as their own headline dates.
