FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW

The early line-up of From A Second Story Window was formed in Western PA in 1999. The band got its start playing countless local shows and amassed a small following in their immediate area.

In 2003, FASSW self-released The Cassandra Complex dispersing the recording for free by mail to anyone that requested one. As feedback from The Cassandra Complex started to present them with opportunities to showcase their music away from home, the band began booking their own tours traveling across the US often to play in basements and small halls.

FASSW signed with Black Market Activities in 2004, and The Cassandra Complex was re-released as Not One Word Has Been Omitted. They would follow the EP with their first full-length, Delenda, in 2006 and another full-length, Conversations, in 2008. After some line-up changes and several years of relentless touring across the US, Canada, and Europe, FASSW disbanded in 2008 before the release date of Conversations.

After a 15-year hiatus, FASSW reunited in 2023, began writing new material, and is active again with the original 2008 line-up that includes Paul Misko (guitar), Will Jackson (vocals), Nick Huffman (drums), Joe Sudrovic (bass), and Rob Hileman (guitar).

FASSW incorporates dark melodic tones with brutal elements of metal and grind, creating music that spans and engages audiences across multiple genres
